Female dancehall artiste Lisa Hyper, whose real name is Felicia Gooden, was arrested on Tuesday night at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston. The former Gaza Nation affiliate arrived at the airport with luggage, intending to leave the island despite not having a plane ticket.

Lisa Hyper went live on social media during her time at the airport, discussing her travel plans. She mentioned going to America and visiting one of her male partners, stating, “Dem ago carry mi to one a mi man dem, mi muss get di money, somebody muss book the ticket fi mi.”

As she continued her livestream, multiple airport employees approached her, making sarcastic remarks that escalated into an argument. Responding to a comment, she controversially stated, “Yeah it a tape, Gaza nuh rape but Gaza a paedophile… yuh wah mi bring unuh dung, test mi… unuh don’t test mi, a will talk things that will send him back a bloodcl**t prison.”

Shortly after, the outspoken deejay was confronted by police officers, resulting in a tense stand-off. Authorities informed her that remaining at the airport without a valid ticket is an arrestable offense and instructed her to leave the premises.

“This a make history, a history mi a mek bout yah,” Lisa Hyper declared before mentioning Vybz Kartel and a person named “Chase” from Stony Hill, stating that neither of them could ever be intimate with her again.

During the livestream, she appeared to get into a confrontation with an airport employee and a police officer. At one point, she approached a group of women, threatening to hit one and demanding that they stop recording her.

“We are gonna charge you, alright,” a male police officer said to the deejay. Lisa Hyper defiantly responded, “Charge mi.”

Before her arrest, officers gave her a final warning to either leave the airport or comply with their instructions. When she refused to leave, she was placed in handcuffs and taken away by law enforcement.

“Let go the Gaza,” a passerby remarked, to which Lisa Hyper fired back, “Gaza can go s**k dem madda.”

She was subsequently transported to the Norman Manley International Airport Police Station. Her livestream ended abruptly as soon as she entered the station.
