Police in St Andrew Central seized a homemade firearm and four rounds of ammunition during an operation on Barbican Road, Kingston 6, on Monday, January 20.

Reports indicate that at approximately 11:00 a.m., law enforcement officers were conducting an operation in search of a wanted man in the area.

While searching the vicinity, officers discovered a duffel bag concealed beneath construction materials. Upon inspection, the bag contained the homemade firearm along with the ammunition.

No arrests have been made in connection with the discovery, but investigations are ongoing.
